About Connecting Flights & Domestic Transfers
Some motorcycle shipments require a Canadian domestic flight or cargo transfer before continuing overseas. This is most common when routing through major international hubs such as Calgary, Montréal, or Toronto, depending on airline schedules and aircraft availability.
In these cases, the motorcycle may move first on a domestic cargo flight (often operated by Cargojet or a Canadian carrier) before connecting to the international flight. These routings are well-established and routinely used for motorcycle air-freight.
Air Canada routings may also involve domestic positioning or short-notice confirmation, as Air Canada typically confirms cargo bookings closer to departure. When Air Canada is selected or requested, we review timing and suitability carefully before final confirmation.
All connecting flights, domestic transfers, and airline-specific requirements are reviewed individually during planning. We’ll confirm the exact routing, timing, and next steps with you before any shipment is finalized.
These connections are handled entirely by us — you’ll never be coordinating domestic cargo flights on your own.
WestJet & Cargojet — Connection-Based Routing
Some routes require a Canadian domestic cargo connection before continuing overseas.
For WestJet international departures, this often means routing through Calgary, typically using Cargojet for the domestic leg before transferring to a WestJet wide-body aircraft.
These routings are common and reliable, but always reviewed individually based on:
-
Airline schedules
-
Cargo space availability
-
Aircraft type and timing
Cargojet operates on a space-available basis and does not operate on weekends.
If your route requires a connection, simply select your preferred option below and we’ll review timing and availability before confirming pricing and next steps.

Air Canada Cargo Routing
Some routes may be available using Air Canada Cargo, depending on origin, destination, and travel window.
Because Air Canada confirms cargo rates and space within a short confirmation window, these routings are reviewed case-by-case and may involve domestic positioning prior to international departure.
